Pastors Martin and Sylvia Lopez
Were Married on March 25th 1978. They have 4 wonderful children Marty, Desiree, Anthony, Andrea and a grandson Jacob.
Pastor Martin’s background includes a troubled life as a child. Turned to alcohol and drugs at a young age of 12 Also was involved in gang activity. Pastor Sylvia also had a past of alcohol and drugs use. They met on a blind date in 1974 and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord in 1977. Then after a few years, they drifted away and went back to drinking and using drugs. 1981 having 2 small children became homeless due to no work. After a year or so, things began to change. They got back on their feet and moved back to Santa Ana from Anaheim.
They started serving the Lord in 1985 at a small church in Santa Ana called New Life Fellowship. After 3 years, they attended another church named Jubilation Christian Church in the city of Orange. Pastor Martin served as an Usher and in the ministry of Helps. After a year he was promoted to Head Usher and Ministry of Helps. Pastor Sylvia joined the Ministry of helps as a Greeter, Church Janitorial, Nursery Helper and later joined the Worship team. Pastor Sylvia currently leads our Worship Team. Pastor Martin became more involved in the Audio/Video department of the church as well. He attended regular bible study classes in preparation for a Ministry licensed Pastor. In 1990, Martin was promoted to the position as Youth Pastor of the church, which was renamed Courageous Living Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Cliff Self. In 1997 Pastor Martin was promoted to an Associate Pastor position at the church and was the overseer of the Ministry of Helps and the Youth Ministry. He also continued in his study of Theology through the church and Bethel Christian College. Pastor Martin also served on the church Board of Directors and Business Advisory Board. In the year 2000, Pastor Martin was Ordained as a Pastor and was launched out to start our own church. We pioneered a church in the city of Buena Park, Ca. by the name of “Faith Family Fellowship Christian Church” In 2003 the church was relocated to a warehouse in Placentia, Ca. In 2008 they meet Pastors Jose and Betsy Mata who lead a church named Holy Ground Christian Fellowship that had the same vision and in 2009 decided to merge both churches and work together.
In September 2012 Pastors Jose and Betsy Mata moved to Tampa Florida and turned Holy Ground Christian Fellowship over to us and now we are the Senior Pastors and the Leaders of Paid In Full M/M West Coast Chapter
